De Amerikaanse Austin Luke komt aankomend seizoen uit voor het DBL team van Basketball Community Gelderland. De 25 jarige point guard heeft gespeeld voor Belmont University (NCAA) waar hij in zijn laatste jaar gemiddeld 9,4 punten scoorde en 7,5 assist uitdeelde. Na zijn collegeperiode maakt Austin de overstap naar Europa, waar hij onder andere speelde voor Kirchheim (Duitsland-Pro A) en Mililla (Spanje, LEB Gold).
Coach Matthew Otten over de aanwinst: “Austin is een point guard van niveau en precies de playmaker die we zoeken. Zijn beslissingsvermogen is uitstekend en hij past perfect bij de stijl van basketbal dat we willen spelen.”

Austin Luke reinforces DBL team Basketball Community Gelderland
American Austin Luke will play for the DBL team of Basketball Community Gelderland next season. The 24-year-old point guard has played for Belmont University (NAAC1) where he averaged 9.4 points and 7.5 assist during his senior year. After college, Austin moved to Europe, where he played for Kirchheim (Germany-Pro A) and Mililla (Spain, LEB Gold).
